Bunty Jarvis has been painting since she retired from teaching 14 years ago. She began in watercolours with Graham Timbrell and struggled for four years with not much satisfaction. However when she joined a drawing class with Pru Crosby she was introduced to pastels and this is much her favoured medium now. Bunty also goes to Cherry Holt Studio at Sutterton to learn with Lindis Colam, a very good artist and works at the Surfleet studio with Norman Rossiter.
Bunty's retirement has been happily fulfilled with her painting and also with the Secretaryship of the Spalding Arts and Crafts Society.
