Elizabeth Ranson was told at school that she wasn't any good at art and should concentrate on her maths and english. She moved to Sutton Bridge five years ago in July. In the September she saw art lessons advertised at the local youth club.
"Walking down to the first lesson was very frightening, the unknown usually is. I am now a complete addict. I find it very relaxing and although I'm no Rembrandt I'm certainly not as bad as my teachers made me out to be. I have a fantastic teacher in Pru, who is a firm believer in positive criticism as well as light and dark!"
