As far back as I can remember I have always drawn and painted. I did A-level art and went to Lincoln Art College to do a foundation course for a degree. However, I did not continue with this after the foundation year but continued to paint and draw on and off over the years. I took up painting again more seriously six or seven years ago and did exhibit for a while locally in various places as well as in Norfolk from time to time. Then there was another hiatus until earlier this year, when I took up painting on a more serious level. This is where I am now, building up a larger portfolio of work for exhibitions next year and beyond.
I have chosen this painting as it is probably a good representation of where I am at the moment. I am fond of seascapes and landscapes but I also do other scenes, mainly in oil, acrylic, or mixed media, and sometimes in watercolour or pastels. You can see more of my paintings on my website.
