Pam has drawn and painted for as long as she can remember, and on any available scraps of paper or cardboard.
“When I started art classes at secondary school my teacher tended to leave me to do as I liked. As a result, I now realise, I was never actually taught the little and important things that make a good picture.”
She moved to Spalding from London in 2001 when she retired, and one of the first things she did was to enrol in Pru Crosby’s oil classes. “I had never used them before, and found them fantastic. After that I joined Norman Rossiter’s classes and discovered acrylics! I am still struggling with pastels.”
“Through art and the SAACS I have found lots of new friends and a whole new life.”
